Prescient Provides Flight Simulators for Aviation Training Centre

Flight Simulators for Aviation Training CentreThe International Aviation Group (IAG) and Clark Development Corporation (CDC) have signed an agreement that paves the way for IAG to establish a new flight training academy for aviation excellence serving Asia. The IAG partners include Prescient Systems & Technologies Pte Ltd and SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited.

The first of its kind, the international aviation training academy in Asia will train commercial pilots according to the new International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) Multi Crew Pilot’s License (MPL). Upon their graduation, these pilots will be qualified to fly as co-pilots on Airbus A320 aircraft.

The flight training centre will house three new sophisticated simulators acquired through Prescient Systems & Technologies, including a Level D Airbus A320 simulator, which will also be available to airlines for bi-annual pilot refresher training. The institute will operate a fleet of seven single-engine training aircraft.

The new facility will not only address the serious pilot shortage in the Asian region and also around the world but will also serve as a pilot recurrent training facility for airlines in the region.
