Jonathan Ratnam - General Manager

Jonathan Ratnam is appointed the General Manager of Prescient Systems & Technologies Pte Ltd, effective 1 Jan, 2004. In this capacity, he along with his management team, build the company’s capability, and establish precise engineering applications and marketing plans for the training and simulation industry worldwide.

Mr. Ratnam served in a variety of positions at Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited which is part of a leading, integrated global engineering group– Singapore Technologies Engineering (SGX:ST-Engg).

He joined ST Training & Simulation Pte Ltd in 2000 as Director Technology in the Research and Development (R&D) department, where he was involved in the development of the operating system software and other various cutting-edge applications, such as the datalink systems for the Air Combat Manoeuvring Instrumentation System and the Naval Combat Manoeuvring Instrumentation System.

In the late 90s, Mr. Ratnam and his engineering team were responsible for the build-up and delivery of several large-scale, multi-million dollar simulation systems including the Helicopter Simulator and the full operation Combat Information Centre system.

Mr. Ratnam holds a Master's from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and a degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the National University of Singapore.
