BIMS Academy ("BIMS") is a premier maritime training facility in South East Asia, based in Bangkok, Thailand.  This is the only private institution committed to providing world-class maritime education and training to both local (Thai) and international Students.  BIMS prides itself in providing a highly trained international teaching faculty with significant sea experience.

BIMS provides trainees with the latest technological training aids including a Full Mission Ship Handling Simulator, ECDIS, ARPA, GMDSS, Steering and Engine Room simulators.

BIMS trains cadets to COC3 certification and runs three programs of the shortest possible duration.  Our cadets are offered the unique choice of getting their COC3 certification from the UK, Australia or Fiji - the premier certification countries, through association with the Warsash Maritime Academy (UK), Australian Maritime College (Australia) and the School of Maritime and Fisheries (Fiji).  These certifications are internationally recognised.
